10/4/2013 - Early bird Registration, 3:00 - 7:00pm

Send one team member to deposit donations and pick up shirts for team members who will be participating in the Buddy Walk®. Then, enjoy a worry free Buddy Walk®  with friends and family, without having to wait  in line! At 7:00pm, Down Syndrome Indiana will tally all doantions to date and announce the top 5 fundraising teams and individuals.

** In order for a donation to be counted towards a team total, it MUST be turned in by that team’s captain.

You are, like, TOTALLY invited…. to this star-studded annual event with Chris Burke. Come “chill” with friends, enjoiy “rad” music and dancing, “gnarly” karaoke, and a “fresh” photo booth! Be sure to wear your best 80’s gear –  Be there or be square!

10/12/2012 - 16th Annual BUDDY WALK®

9:00am - Registration

The Buddy Walk® is a no-fee, 2.6 mile walk along the canal in White River State Park. Walkers may sign-in and deposit donations until 12pm in the Registration Tent. Walkers who raise at least $50 will receive an event t-shirt (while supplies last).

11:30pm - Presentation of Top 5 Teams

Family members and supporters of the top 5 fundraising teams (as determined on Friday, October 4th at 7:00pm) are invited to the stage to say a few words and be recognized for their efforts and accomplishments.

12:00pm - WALK BEGINS!

1:00pm - Lunch

A complimentary lunch will be provided walkers (while supplies last).

Throughout the Day

Be sure to check out the many attractions available from 9am to 4pm.

  • Gather resources at out Information Tent
  • Enjoy interactive entertainment provided by Radio Disney
