Donate a Silent Auction Item for Midwest Fashion Week!

Down Syndrome Indiana is collecting the following items to create themed baskets for its silent auctions during Midwest Fashion Week, which runs from March 10 to March 17, 2012. You may deliver items to the Down Syndrome Indiana office by Friday,February 24 at 2625 N. Meridian Street, #49, Indianapolis, IN 46208. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Silent Auction Themed Baskets

Art Box- art supplies such as paints, paint brushes, canvas, pencils, tablets of paper, crayons, markers, finger paints, play dough, etc.

Beer and Wine Basket – cases of beer, individual cans, bottles of wine, wine glasses, beer mugs

Game Night – board games, snacks, cards

Kitchen – recipe books, kitchen utensils, wine glasses, water glasses, mugs, dish towels, measuring cups, measuring spoons, etc.

Mom’s Night Out – restaurant gift certificates, certificates to salons, nail polish, certificates for shoe stores, etc.

Movie Night – popcorn, candy, DVD’s (especially if they have to do with Down syndrome!)

Spa Night – lotions, bath salts, shower gels, bubble bath, etc.

Story Time – books, book characters, blankets, sippy cups, juice boxes and bookstore gift certificates

Toolkit for Educators – items that would be useful for educators to compliment the tote bag of books that DSI already includes. Items may include: tissue, hand sanitizer, additional books for elementary students, pencils, etc.
