CORPORATE ADVISORY BOARD

The purpose of the Down Syndrome Indiana Corporate Advisory Board is to develop a partnership with the business community and leadership of DSI. This partnership allows DSI to draw upon the expertise and knowledge of corporate leaders in meeting the challenge of developing and sustaining critical services to families and persons with Down syndrome.

MIDWEST FASHION WEEK

"DESIGN FOR CHANGE"

Midwest Fashion Week is scheduled for March 10 to March 17, 2012 and features Kalen Irsay, vice president of the Indianapolis Colts as "Patron of Honor".

Three events during the week will feature models with Down syndrome, kicking off with the "Children's Fashion Show" at Bella Vita Ristorante (Geist Marina) on Sunday, March 11.

"Sports Meets Fashion" will be held Monday, March 12 at the Indianapolis Colts Pavilion and the week ending "Design For Change" gala will be held Saturday, March 17 at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

D.A.D.S. GOLF OUTING

The Indianapolis chapter hosts an annual golf tournament that raises money to send over 25 children to Camp Hi-Lite, a special summer camp program exclusively for children with Down syndrome. The 2011 edition of the D.A.D.S. annual golf outing raised more than $80,000 and featured golf course design legend Pete Dye and noted landscape photographer Micheal Gurnell. MONTGOMERY AVIATION FLY-IN

Join the fun at the Indianapolis Executive Airport (off Indiana State Road 32 between Westfield and Zionsville) on Saturday, August 4, 2012 for food, arts and crafts, music, helicopter rides and much more. Free admission with proceeds benefiting Down Syndrome Indiana.

BUDDY WALK®

The organization’s premier fundraising and awareness event. The walk is held each October and raises roughly $210,000.00 for the organization’s operating costs. The Buddy Walk® contact is Mike Wolinsky.
