Toolkit for Educators
Down Syndrome Indiana provides preschool and elementary educators who are teaching an individual with Down syndrome are supplied with a free mini library upon request. The library includes the following titles:
- Everyone Counts
- Fine Motor Skills for Children with Down Syndrome
- Teaching Reading to Children with Down syndrome
- Gross Motor Skills in Children with Down syndrome
- Classroom Language Skills for Children with Down Syndrome
- Teaching Math to People with Down syndrome and other Hands on Learners
- Teaching Children with Down Syndrome about Their Bodies, Boundaries, and Sexuality
- Inclusion: Educating students with Down syndrome with their non-disabled peers by the NDSS
