History
Down Syndrome Indiana began with one mother’s efforts to create awareness about Down syndrome through the sale of a calendar. Soon, a small group of moms joined forces to form a group dedicated to creating awareness and providing assistance to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. From that “dining room” beginning grew an organization of more than 1600 individuals who give countless hours of energy and passion to make life better for children and adults with Down syndrome.
