March 21st: World Down Syndrome Day

In honor of World Down Syndrome Day (Saturday, March 21st), Down Syndrome Indiana and GiGi's Playhouse Indianapolis are excited to partner with Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action for a "Random Acts of Kindness" campaign to highlight the positive influence individuals with disabilities have on their communities! Throughout the month of March, we would like to encourage you to get creative and complete "Random Acts of Kindness" for the people you care for, or even complete strangers! On Saturday, March 21st families, friends and local supporters will gather from around the state for a community celebration, hosted by both Down Syndrome Indiana and GiGi's Playhouse Indianapolis, for a morning of great fun with friends and family!

April 23rd: Volunteering at Gleaners

Gleaners is one of the largest  food banks in Indiana, which serves  21 counties in Indiana. We’ll be serving from 6:15pm-8pm Thursday, April 23rd with other local families. May 29th: Masquerade Ball at WRCC

A FREE Prom for Individuals with Special Needs ages 16 year and older. The evening will include:  dancing, snacks, drinks, flowers,

pictures, and gifts for the guests. Hair, make-up, dresses or suits provided upon request. Event Sponsored by: Autism Society of Indiana, Circle of Friends, Down Syndrome Indiana, Hollis Adams Foundation, JANUS, Mephibosheth Ministries, Special Olympics of Hamilton County, White River Christian Church.
