Meet the DSI Staff
Cathy graduated from Indiana University Indianapolis with a focus in Non-Profit Management. Cathy has over 10 years’ experience in the development field managing a diversified fundraising portfolio. Cathy enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Cathy is honored to be a part of the DSI team and for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Cathy will be overseeing the Down Syndrome Indiana Buddy Walk®, the DSI D.A.D.S. Golf Outing, the Fly-in, the Summer Picnic and the Holiday Party. Cathy can be reached at email@example.com.
Angie has volunteered with Down Syndrome Indiana since September 2006. Angie was awarded the National Down Syndrome Society Self Advocate of the Year award in 2014 and the Colts Golden Horseshoe Award in 2010. In addition to working for Down Syndrome Indiana, Angie also volunteers her time for Best Buddies Indiana, Windemere Nursing home and Community North Hospital, as well as, working for the YMCA and Kohl’s.

Stephanie attended Purdue University at Indianapolis earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and worked in the Quality Assurance field before early "retirement" to raise her three children while also providing childcare for several friends and family members. After becoming involved with Down Syndrome Indiana after the birth of her daughter Katie 13 years ago, Stephanie states, “I continue to be truly grateful for the opportunity to officially work for our Down Syndrome Indiana families and treasure all the new experiences that have come along.”

Annie is a recent graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where she earned a degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations and a minor in event management. Annie grew up with an older brother that has Down syndrome, whom is the main reason for her involvement in the Ds community. She was awarded the William M. Plater Civic Engagement Medallion in 2015 for her work with individuals with disabilities through Live, Laugh, Dance and the Ability Experience. She says, “I feel honored to work an organization that hits so close to home for me!” Annie oversees a variety of Down Syndrome Indiana programs including: Volunteer Coordination, Adult Life, the DSI Dancers and the e-newsletter. Lisa has a background in Civic Leadership, has worked with Indiana nonprofits for over 12 years and is a registered Family Mediator. When asked why she works for DSI without having a child with Ds, her response is simply, “Why wouldn't I?! This is what I am meant to be doing! This is truly a wonderful organization and I am honored to be a part of it." Lisa resides in Fishers with her husband and three children.
